The Association for Women in Architecture + Design, and the AWA Foundation
Both the Association for Women in Architecture and Design (AWA+D) and the Association for Women in Architecture Foundation (AWAF) are focused on supporting and advancing womens’ roles in architecture, design and the built environment.
In 2018, Waking State Design was hired to re-design their very outdated website, and were enveloped into this amazing group of women. Since then, Tamara has become a member of AWA+D and subsequently served as Secretary and now still a current Board Member of AWAF. Since 2020, on a pro bono basis, has designed project specific branding for AWA+D and AWAF programs and events.
