The Transbay Transit Center Project is a visionary transportation and housing project that transforms downtown San Francisco and the San Francisco Bay Area’s regional transportation system by creating a “Grand Central Station of the West” in the heart of a new transit-friendly neighborhood.

Waking State Design was hired to redesign and reorganize the home page for the TJPA website, add a new feature section, “Faces of Transbay,” while maintaining the overall look and feel of the existing site. We did so by introducing a fresh, new look, with bolder usage of the existing color palette and typography, and created unique iconic graphics for a selection of homepage sliders.

We also updated the entire site to the most current WordPress versions that made the site compatible with hand-held devices. We developed training manuals to ensure the ongoing functionality of the site and staff usage, and held training conference calls with continual email and telephone follow up.

We are continuing our work with them as we redesign the website Temporary Terminal interactive map, and their interactive Timeline.
